Derrick
Blanton grew up in
North Carolina, moving to
Myrtle Beach when he was 19 years old. He learned the
construction business from the ground up, thus gaining the experience
that today makes him a versatile businessperson. Derrick says that he
would not build a home that he would not be proud to live in himself.
A man committed to his Christian faith and to reaching out to others,
Derrick believes, “ God has selected us and has entrusted us to use
our gifts wisely…for His good.” An avid outdoorsman, Derrick lives in
Murrell’s Inlet with his wife and two stepdaughters.
JAMES “JIMBO” BOOTH, the Executive Vice
president of our company, oversees all aspects of construction.
Originally from Huntington WV , he began building houses in 1976 while
working with his father, gaining experience in all phases of
construction. He moved to
Myrtle Beach in 1982. Jimbo is a Christian and believes that we
are called to be men of integrity. He says, “Reputation is what man
sees, integrity is what God sees”. He loves the outdoors, he plays
golf, hunts, and fishes. Jimbo was married in 1983 and has three
children.
Bruce Leighty grew
up in
West Virginia,
he started building right out of high school in 1984 and
moved to Myrtle Beach in 1989. Bruce oversees the construction
process and deals with all subcontractors. Committed to his
Christian faith, he says that we should do our job as though we are
doing it for Christ and for His glory. When Bruce is not working, he
hunts, fishes and spends time with his wife and two children.
